Garnet Education - another busy monthDate: 2009-11-15
The Garnet Education Marketing team are going to be very busy over the next month, with the Frankfurt Book Fair from 14th–18th October and English UK North and also BELTE in Brighton on 17th October.
With a bigger stand than ever before, Garnet Education will be a big presence at this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair. Exhibiting at stand no. 8.0.F902, with the entire team to answer any questions and enquiries, we will be celebrating winning the 2009 Duke of Edinburgh English-Speaking Union English Language Award for our English for Specific Academic Purposes series.
‘The Garnet Education series covering English for Specific Academic Purposes focuses on very specialised academic learning needs. Garnet have shown a brave publishing commitment to teachers and learners and they have delivered consistent and high quality courses and learning content across a wide range of specialised areas. The entire series is a tribute to Garnet’s vision and a worthy winner of the 2009 Duke of Edinburgh ESU English Language Award.’
Following Frankfurt Book Fair, Catherine Kennedy, Garnet Education’s Marketing Executive, will be attending English UK North at the University of Sheffield on 17th October. Garnet will have a stand at this conference where you will be able to meet Catherine and browse through our titles or catalogue.
Also on 17th October, Bob Green, Garnet Education’s Marketing and Publishing Development Manager, Olly Twist, Garnet’s Regional academic Sales Executive, Gary Hicks and Jonathan Smith, a Garnet author, will be attending BELTE. The Brighton English Language Teaching Event will be held at the StudyGroup Head Office at 1 Billinton Way, Brighton, BN1 4LF. During the event, Jonathan Smith will be presenting a talk on pronunciation, titled: Pronunciation in the Real World.
