Gloria Richards
Gloria Richards has worked in English language teaching for over 20 years, both in Poland and the UK. She has a wide range of experience, teaching at universities and colleges as well as private companies and government institutions. Her academic interests include the teaching of English for specific academic purposes, study skills and language awareness studies. She holds an MA in English Philology and a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting. She currently works as an EAP and study skills tutor at the University of Hertfordshire. She shared a Vice Chancellor's award for outcomes of a Communications Skills initiative carried by the ELT into different disciplines for students already on their degree programmes. Gloria has been involved with the School of Life Sciences. She has co-written Garnet Education’s ESAP Biological Sciences with Jackie Willis.
