The website contains open access materials for students and a separate password-protected teacher access point. Each Course Book contains links to the website at the end of each unit, directing students to a list of websites for further study of topics covered by the unit. Teachers have access to a bank of resources, including downloadable handouts and additional activities for valuable extra practice or study on topics or skills related to the unit. Both sites will continue to grow as additional material becomes available.

About English for Academic Study:

The English for Academic Study series has been written in collaboration with the International Study and Language Centre at the University of Reading for students of EAP pre-sessional and foundation courses with an IELTS range of 5.0-7.5.  Covering the full range of skills, titles include Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Extended Writing & Research Skills, Vocabulary and Pronunciation.  A separate Reading & Writing Source Book, though forming an integral part of both Reading and Writing courses, may also be used as an independent resource for academic reading texts.  Sample units of each title in the series are available to download from the series website.
